• The Business Excellence Model promoted by the European Foundation of Quality Management – EFQM, is a non- profit European organization whose main activity is the development , promotion and dissemination of the principles of the Total Quality Management in Europe. It’s the primary source for European organizations that seeking excellence during their conduct of business activity in the market.

• This model aims to highlight the strong points of a business and identify areas for improvement , with the ultimate aim to achieve excellent performance against business results , Customers , Human Resources and Society . The distinction of “EFQM” is a commitment for all of us here in HARLAS INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT SA ” in every movement and every action we make.

• The zeal for work and the dedication combined with the sense of family that is developing between our employees are our true strength . The self-assessment process had highlighted areas for improvement that the rhythms of daily activity are not allowed until that moment to emerge . The implementation of projects is selected by a structured manner which is prescribed by the model, gave us the opportunity to develop structures and procedures for immediate results, earning valuable experience for all of us.

• Our street was full of knowledge , experience and today we recognize the benefits that we gained through our participation in the Business Excellence model . The benefit for the customer , our partners and our staff was the flexibility, adaptability, the pursuit of an optimal level , the creation and satisfaction of our expectations.

• The EFQM puts us in the “conscious militancy”. We should never lose from inside of us Odysseus, the first documented case which was a really conscious human race, with very strong knowledge of who he is. The Odyssey is the journey of the conscious fighter, to return there where his identity is confirmed. For us, the return journey of Odysseus to Ithaca, represents the first record of conscious fighting spirit world wide!
